Yippee, it's Thursday....but we are also here tomorrow for a super field trip!
Today we began our day in the gym for our All School Assembly. Peter Hungerford received the award for "Self-sufficiency" and many students in the class received the National Physical Fitness Award. Great job guys!
In math we were efficient with our time and will have Lesson 109 & 110, covering "Corresponding Parts, Similar Figures and Symmetry", for homework over the weekend.
For our Language Arts time we worked in class on Night of the Notables. Everything is due Monday! Students were given rubrics and checklists again if they didn't have them. These should be filled out when they return on Monday. They need to attach a bibliography and be ready to present to the class some time next week.
Students have homework in World Language that should be written in their planner.
We did some more reading about oceans during reading group time.
We will not have Riggs over the weekend, due to N.O.N. and time restraints today. Throughout today students have been called to the lab to finish their MAP testing and should be all done with this today, unless they are absent.
In Core Knowledge we have started our ocean unit and will model and label with play dough the ocean floor.
Tomorrow please remember to bring an ocean snack to share if possible and that there is no hot lunch so everyone needs to bring their own lunch. It is a regular uniform day.
Thank you,
Miss King
