Today was "Team Tuesday" and I was surprised more students didn't show up in a team jersey. This is the first time in the history of our school that we have had a spirit week, students should definitely show their spirit and participate.
- We began our day by cleaning our room, then beginning to map Mexico.
- In math we corrected lesson 110 and reviewed our math test 21A and then took test 21B. Lesson 111 is homework
- We revamped our Greek and Latin Root learning and are going to stop getting new roots and really focus on learning the roots we have done thus far this year. Student created notecards with the last 10 roots on them.
- We listened to two presentations for NON before heading to World Language.
- World Language
- Our last reading group read the Amazing Undersea Food Web
- We visited the Book Fair and created a wish list.
- Lunch
- P.E. / Small groups in the classroom
- We went through a powerpoint of the life zones in the ocean, then we got out the paint and tried not to make a mess while painting our own zones in the pelagic region of the ocean. They will dry then we will label and put our dwellers in them tomorrow. If students printed or drew huge dwellers they are to rescale them to fit their painting and bring them to school tomorrow.
- Most students will finish presentations tomorrow.
- Study GLR roots on cards we made today for our game tomorrow.
