Wednesday,

• This morning we answers questions about our Canada map for morning work.  We learned that Canada has 10 provinces and 3 territories among other things.
• Math we finished corrected our quiz from yesterday as a class, then went over lesson 108 and our drawings.  Lesson 108 is our homework tonight.
• We had a condensed version of CPR before we headed to MAP testing for science.  Many students finished and most students are all done MAP testing.
• World Language
• Reading we read about ocean trenches and the salinity of the ocean and answered questions about our informative text.
• We took a Riggs test
• Lunch
• P.E./ Music
• We came back to class and got our new Riggs words: topography, continental, plain, plane, subsurface, phytoplankton
• We took an ocean pre-test
• Then took notes on ocean, covering surface and subsurface features.  Students took notes from our Smartboard notebook pages and were asked to go home and look up "Coral atoll" as their ticket into the door tomorrow.
• We read Chapter 6 of the Giver
• N.O.N. work tonight is working on final draft and work on boards. 
• Clean-up and home
